Just more than a month to wait. The trip is paid in full so now I just wait for the tickets from Finnair.
Saw a documentary on the Japanese nature and why it is so famous for the fiery forests in autumn season. Our woodlands are more industrial in nature, heavy on Pine and other types of trees that can grow quickly and become pulp or lumber. Japans woodlands are more varied and protected.
You will also find many animals and plants that are endemic to Japan. Am so looking forward to a real nature trip to this famous country. Not sure I will actually miss roaming the SciFi environment of Tokyo... This time!
