Fried Crickets and other Thai stuff to eat

Fried crickets and other bugs - can be seen sold everywhere. Test it.. works wonders with a beer (or two). Crickets (Jing Leed) tastes just crunchy, nutty, salty and baconish. The Thai pepper powder, Prik Thai, is a must! Maeng Da - crunchy fried bugs In general - you will almost never be sad when trying to eat local food. Seaweed soup with minced pork The seaweed soup has always been a favourite after I found a nice, cosy place on Silom Rd in Bangkok. Sadly the restaurant was closed the year after - and I have always been trolling for a place that servers equally good soup. Still no luck - but it still works all the time to fill your belly. And a "iced tea" with the scary condensed milk, makes a sweet combo. Avoid though If you are having a stomach lined with asbestos or kevlar, you might be brave enough to but "cold" fried seafood from the hawkers walking up and down the beach.
