I spent 12 days in Tokyo this January. I always stay in the Yanaka area as I love the combination of how easy it is to get around Tokyo as well as getting back and forth to the airport. Add a nice ryokan with tatami mats and rolled out mattresses - this is value for money!!
6600 Yen per night at low season for a single - is great!!
This tour included the "normal" stuff like food and zoo visits but also a day trip to Fukushima and the nuclear plant (ok, we got like 2000 mtrs from it.. not closer than that).
