Ok, I will keep the first two "posts" live. But I did make a point to reboot the entries. Why? Well - I got more time now and can really "think back" on all events. I also got some more pics to perhaps share. So a reboot will happen!
Abfahrt!!
Ended my "Arlanda visits" with a Starbucks coffee. I always end up there because I get crappy, expensive coffee and that is how I want to remember Sweden when I go abroad. A quick hop to Helsinki and a "rush" through the airport. Still nothing to shop. Just surprised the Angry Birds shop was now a Fazer shop.
Flight AY to Helsinki and Osaka.
Darn. I got a "person" next to me as I checked in; so as soon as I could change seat - I did. The drawback was of course that I didn't sit near those fellow travelers to be. But I got an empty seat next to me and had an option to sleep "more" comfy now. Tried to look around for people that might be part of the trip - most seats were taken by Asian looking people so focused on the Europeans. I had tried to spot any "Gajins" already at Helsinki - no luck there. Then I spotted
The Gimp. I so hoped he was not part of the group and I was ecstatic when I saw his inteniary being provided by another travel agent. He won't be a "travel companion".
I am always scared when I see someone who looks like he is ready for a safari or
an Big African lion hunt. A complete monochromatic dress; the advanced big game hunter dress in "Sand" color including a wide hat. OMG - we are going to a civilized country. He was dressed for Africa. I guess he could have been hunting Gardens but.. Luckily not.
I tried to sleep (didn't work) and watched movies - BORING as always to sit still for 9 hours in a plane. Not even Snakes on the plane :(

| AY to Osaka on a "big" plane. Like 2+4+2 seatings - IF you manage to land an entire "row" by yourself. There was no fight but as soon as the "fasten seatbelt" was off - every 'empty' 4-seat row was occupied. |
