Hello. This is spring tour 2017
First Tokyo with Tokyo Sky Tree. We have the first two days in Tokyo so Roppongi Art Centres, Rikugien and much more.
Off to Nikko and Lake Chuzenji. Some time spent in the Toshogu shrine and then to Utsonomiya for sleep.
After Nikko we will go to an onsen in the mot northern area of Honsu; Aomori. Staying at the Furofushi Onsen will be a bliss.
Day six will be a trip to Hokkaido with Shinkansen. Staying in Hakodate for a few nights. Fish amarket, Hakodate mountain and much more on the agenda.
Day eight and we will leave Hokkaido. Down south to Hirosaki. This will be the mail place for cherryblossom spotting. Supposedly very good Castle in the middle with 2600 trees, and if all blossom.. gonna be magical! Also time for some gardens and sake breweries.
Day ten and Kakunodate is our goal. Another place for some magical cherryblossoms. Here they focus on Shidarezakura - a sort of hanging blossoms. If we match the flowering - this will be even MORE magical then around Hirosaki.
Day eleven and Nagano is a target. Here we have a "free" evening! Day after we are going to Yudanaka. A brisk nature hike to Jigokundai and hanging out with some snow macaques.
Day thirteen means Tateyama and the Alpine route. It is supposed to open fully on April 15 and our target date is April 27. A trip to the Kurobe dam is a must when here.
All good things must come to an end. Day fourteen means a train ride back to Tokyo where we do Nezu museum. AND SHOPPING!!! Yeay!!! From Tokyo, day fifteen equals back home :(
