So I made the second decision. STAY!
Last time I spent two weeks on the road in Japan; with many stops like Hiroshima, Kanazawa, Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo etc.
We arrived in the middle of the day in Tokyo and took a trip to the "fake island" with the fake shopping mall etc. Second day - we did "go" to the main places along the Yamanote line. And then we had a free day which was.. "whaaaaa".
This time - I have decided to stay the entire 2 weeks in Tokyo. Booked a Ryokan for 6500 yen/night. It is in the Yanaka area. North, northeast in Tokyo. Just 10 min walking from the Yamanote line.
Yeah - just going to be slumming - and aiming for Lost In Translation.
